Bresse Museum and Domaine des Planons Farm
Located on a former agricultural estate in Saint-Cyr-sur-Menthon, the Domaine des Saveurs - Les Planons invites you to discover Bresse traditions and flavours: a vast natural estate housing a museum and a listed Bresse farmhouse.
A PLACE OF TRADITION AND GASTRONOMY
A museum
With over 1,000 m2 of exhibition space, discover the rich heritage and culture of Bresse. You'll discover Bresse costume and its astonishing chimney hat, Bresse enamels and precious jewels, and Bresse gastronomy.
In the heart of a region renowned for the art of "eating well", the museum explores man's relationship with food from the past to the present, as well as the changing ways in which products are produced, preserved and transformed into food. Culinary art, table manners and festive rituals all find their natural place here.
A farmhouse
Listed as a historic monument in 1938, this charming farmhouse is a unique example of Bresse architecture, with its Saracen chimney and timber-framed construction.
A natural estate
This vast 44-hectare estate is ideal for walks. Along its paths, you'll find an old-fashioned vegetable garden, a pond, giant games, a corn maze and a free-range AOC poultry farm.
Come and spend a unique day on an estate that combines history, relaxation and fun.
