In Ain, there’s a golf course for everyone!
#GolfsAin
Ain, nestled between Lyon and Geneva, is a land where nature reigns. Made up of 4 distinct natural areas, Ain offers a range of 16 golf courses, each of which is unique in its own way. Most of them are located on Geneva’s doorstep, in the area known as Pays de Gex, in the foothills of the Jura Mountains. Five others are in the Dombes, the land of a thousand meres situated close to Lyon. Two are based in Bresse – the land renowned for its world-class AOC chicken, a stone’s throw from Mâcon – and one is in Haut-Bugey, in the Plastic Valley at the gateway to the Jura. An incredible diversity in nature makes Ain a haven for practising golf – and that’s no coincidence!
The 16 golf courses in Ain are all unique in their own way. While they are situated relatively close to each other, they make for an interesting mix for golfers seeking variety and sensations. Whether you’re a first-timer, a beginner, an experienced player or an expert, there’s something to suit all tastes and all fancies. Everyone can get involved at their leisure: a little bit, a lot, passionately or like crazy!
