Typical Bresse farmhouse built in the late 16th century. Reopening in April 2024 after major restoration work on historic buildings and upgrading: come and discover the farm in its new setting with a renewed tour route.
Listed as a Historic Monument in 1930.
A fine example of a half-timbered, wattle-and-daub farmhouse, dating from 1581, with an admirable cruciform gallery serving as a first-floor balcony. Its northern section was demolished shortly after 1900. The belfry is in the shape of a Romanesque pyramidal bell tower.
Special feature: the well is equipped with a double crank handle, a reminder that the farm was once divided between two sisters whose relationship was far from cordial!
Stroll around the vegetable garden, the orchard with its ancient varieties, and the corn and hemp crops.
