A golf course that’s a bit different. In the area known as Pays de Gex, on the banks of Divonne-les-Bains Lake and a stone’s throw from Switzerland, the Hippodrome Golf Club is ideally situated between Geneva and Lausanne whilst enjoying a magnificent panorama of the highest Jura mountain peaks. This course offers something out of the ordinary in that it’s based at the very centre of the racecourse. Over 5 hectares of grounds, it features, an exceptionally long driving range with 20 tees, including 8 covered tees, and a 9-hole Pitch and Putt ideal for working on your approach shot and putting skills. This course is approved by the French Golf Federation and is open to everyone. It’s an ideal course for both beginners and seasoned golfers. After a great round of golf, to make the most of this unique moment, head to the clubhouse terrace and enjoy a refreshing drink.

The 9-hole course

On the banks of Divonne-les-Bains Lake, close to the Swiss border, you can tee off on the astroturf of the 9-hole pitch and putt, approved by the French Golf Federation, at the centre of the racecourse. Inspired by Scottish courses with high grass to mark out the holes, it was designed to offer enjoyable rounds to all players, regardless of ability.
